All Kinds of Shoes and a Pecan Scone

It's been a crazy and hectic couple of weeks in the world of Jenna with not much time to stop and think (but plenty time to eat that yummy scone). I did however manage to get my hands on two new pairs of shoesies brand new from eBay which has brightened things up! My Star Wars-esque pumps are originally from Topshop and the nude strappy heels are from Dorothy Perkins, which are being saved for August when I am being a bridesmaid at my best friend's wedding.
This morning I also got to see the first hot air balloon of the year taking off from the park in front of my flat. The sun was just peeping over the hills and it got me all excited for summer. I just can't wait!

More posts to come next week when I finally have some holidays…yaaaay!

Tearoom Gazing

Wandering around little vintage tearooms and antique shops is one of my favourite ways to spend an afternoon...and of course if there is a big slab of cake and a frothy mocha thrown in then I'm definitely not complaining!

Cath Kidston is the Queen of shabby chic and suffice it to say that I would happily buy everything she's ever made. Shame my bank balance probably wouldn't be best pleased at that thought, so window shopping with the odd treat will need to do for now.

Tea party, anyone?

There is a wonderful antiques centre just around the corner from where I live which has a brilliant collection of jugs, vases and beautiful furniture at really quite affordable prices. It's also where I bought my rocking chair which I reupholstered. You can read about that here!

Check out your own town or city to see if they have any kind of antiques or vintage shops, you'll be surprised at how much cheaper the little rustic flower vases (which seem to be all the rage right now) can be!

I'm so desperate to buy this stool but I need a little person who can make use of it first!
